Description

As one of the main resident @ Euphoria by Ministry of Sound, Victor G has been steadily running it since its open the door to KL last year. His techno night been doing well and he's not leaving behind studio time.

On this EP, he presents us the main title, Sleepy Days, a kind of progressive meets techno version that builds up slowly and turn into a mild monster. Still melodic yet still punchy. On the remixes front, Nicholas Van Orton delivers a slicker techno version and Andy Slate gives us a rub of deep pounding bassline with solid synth works. The bonus track, Maybe No slides more into a progressive mood, finishing it nice and easy.

Feedback

Hernan Cattaneo - On NVO remix: Sounds very good.

Garnica - My fav is Nicholas Van Orton remix. Lovely trax for my sets!

Aldrin - As you know, I'm normally not into very progressive style but I thought Sleepy Days is pretty cool. 1st half is very proggy, but then when the chord changes, and the pads come in, it takes the track to a very cool direction. Wished he carried on more with the melodies though! Nevertheless, good job!

M.O.D.E. - Van Orton remix is cool.

Tim Davison - Really liking this. All mixes would fit in my sets but the Van Orton mix just sneaks it for me. Really looking forward to playing these out this weekend.

Arjun Vagale (Jalebee Cartel) - Nicholas's mix is ace mate. Will deffo be playing this, may even take this for the CD comp. It's really good.

Tobias Hoppe - It's an overall amazing package with 4 very well produced tracks. My fav are Maybe No which is very dreamy and good for the beginning of my sets and the Andy Slate remix of Sleepy Days, that is the best track here. It's an amazing progressive house dancefloor track. I looooove it and will play it out!!!

Sasha Le Monnier - Good stuff again. Really digging both Originals, smooth prog house, also like the driven version from NVO.

Bojan Mladenovic - Maybe No rocks! Pure summer song from Pure Substance.

Junkdna - Great release, I love it and will play it.

Tune Off - I like Nicholas Van Orton remix.

Johan Nilsson (Di.fm) - Nice release, supporting all tracks in our Progressive Channel.

Ad Brown/Maxi Valvona - Niiiiiiiice.

Distant Fragment - Nice sounds in the new EP and lots of diversity as well. Nicholas Van Orton remix will work best for my sets so this will be the winner for me.

Xaric - I'll play the Andy Slate remix. Dark and groovy. Nice job on the remix, love the synths and the fx's. Exactly what I'm looking for.

Jacco@Work - Original of Sleepy Days is ace. I've included it in my upcoming show on ETN.

Darin Epsilon - Nice package overall, my favorite is the Andy Slate remix. Nice punchy kick drum and groovy bassline. Has a very classic prog sound. Also felt the Nicholas Van Orton remix was an interesting interpretation of the original.

Matt Black - Thanks for these, Andy Slate remix is the one for me.

Samer Salhab aka Dj Samer - NVO remix is very good. Like the Slate mix as well. Nice job.
