CCCP (ART G & JUSTIN XARA)

CCCP was founded by producer and composer Art G and DJ Justin Xara in 2005.

Art G started working as a producer in 2000. Since then he did lots of successful remixes for famous Lithuanian and Russian pop and rock artists such as Skamp, Andrius Mamontovas, Pelenai, Antis, Nike Barzov, Biplan, Lakmus and won a recognition as one of the best producers in Lithuania.

Art G first appeared to Lithuanian audience with a very successful project those days that was called Mix Pix. Tracks of Mix Pix project were played at the most popular Lithuanian radio stations and appeared in charts.

In 2002 Art G started a new project called Cut&Play. Art G and his mate Serge Grey had been working together and creating the album “City Life”. Under the name of Cut&Play, they also did a remix of Alice Cooper song “Brutal Planet”. This remix was included in Alice Cooper's album "Dragon Town", released in USA (Spitfirerecords) in 2002.

Art G also used to work as a manager promoting concerts of artists such as Scorpion, Vanessa Mae, Shaggy, ballet theatre of Vyachaslav Gordeyev, Smoky and others.

Justin Xara is one of those established DJs in Lithuania playing almost everywhere including such big events as Techno Valentine, Halloween Night, Strokes Temple, Electric Colours. Experimenting with music and sounds settled that Justin’s style evolved to tech house and later on to the progressive house filled with electro, acid elements.
Art G and Justin Xara’s CCCP project was initially founded as electro, electro prog house project.

The first vinyl of CCCP was released in December 2005 on Innovate Recordings (UK) with remixes of Art G and Justin Xara themselves including a great Rhythm Code remix. CCCP-I Want Your Body release was supported by djs like Jody Wisternof (Way Out West), Inkfish, Osamu M, Moshic, Kasey Taylor. CCCP single “I want your body” was presented by Hernan Cattaneo during his show on Metro 95.1.

In spring of the year 2006 CCCP guys have remixes Rui Da Silva’s “Amidar” for Rui’s 64 records. The single was supported by Damian Lazarus, Audiofly, King Unique, Trevor Rockclife. Almost the same time very successful single “Demi-D-Drive” was released on Deeper Substance on the other side of vinyl including Justin Xara remix. The single got support from such djs as Pete Tong, Steve Lawler, Cass, Tom Stephan, Satoshi Tomiie and others.

Art G and Justin Xara are signed to Existence records (www.existencerecords.com) where they have their “All the Answers” digital release with Paul K remix and “September Rain” with PJ Davy remix and Pure Substance Records (www.puresubstance-records.com) where CCCP remix of Tony Estrada’s “Black Derby” was released in July 2005. The tracks of CCCP have already won the recognition among the likes of Sasha, Sucker Djs, Andrew K, Chris Salt, Anthony Pappa, Jerry Bonham, Kasey Taylor, Chris Fortier and other big name DJs and producers in the dance music industry. CCCP mix sessions are broadcasted on various radio stations such as Play FM (Austria), ETN, PROTON, Club246 (Canada) radio station.

In the year of 2006 Art G and Justin Xara officially started hosting “Existence” radio show on one of the biggest dance music radio stations in Canada club246.com which has around 250000 listeners on FM and internet stream weekly. Justin and his mate Alex Virtual also host a weekly radio show every Saturday Mixmasters @Geras FM (www.mixmasters.lt) and organize events Mixmasters live Broadcast, KINKY and Prisimink vasara @Men’s Factory club.

Justin had a residency twice a week at Fashion TV night club in Vilnius (2005) and was spinning alongside Sandy Rivera (Kings of tomorrow, USA), Gareth Oxby (Loaded records, UK), Stanton Warriors (Distinctive, UK), Tim Davison (Plastic Fantastic, UK), Alexey Haas (Russia), Marius Ivanoff (Pure, LT), Elbee Bad (Gigolo, USA), Art G and lots of others.
