Fullbodysoundsystem all started in 2001, when label owner Damon G. was hit by a car on his motorcycle. Fearing amputation of his right leg it was through house music that Damon was able to walk once again. "DJ'ing and good music provided excellent motivation to heal" says Damon, "That and Halflegsoundsystem, doesn't have the same ring to it." It was through music from most of Damon's friends that inspired him to walk. "Artists like Mattlok, Paranoid Jack, Konk West, Hatiras, & Deepgroove, gave me the drive and determination to heal."

The label has proven to be very successful over the past few years, and has seen quality releases from it's roster of artists. Deepgroove, Eric Entrena, Hatiras, Zimbardo have all done an excellent job supporting the label. It's now that the label looks to the future of house music, and always trying to stay a few steps ahead of the market. That's what underground music is all about. Lately Damon G has been working hard in the studio remixing quality artists such as DJ Hal, Python, Tony Thomas, Leron, Yves Eaux, Luke Starr, Micheal Morph, Mashtronic, and for established labels like Composure UK, Pure Substance, Benchmarc, Cubic and his own imprints, Fullbodysoundsystem and WiFi Recordings.
