Pallid
Zakiyah Alhabshi, reviewer of Australian based entertainment portal, Resident Advisor, singled out Pallid’s “Deep Monotony” signed to UDG:M as her No. 1 Tune, comparing it to the likes of Addictive records duo Saeed & Palash.
With years of hands on experience with the Drums, Bass Guitar and Piano during his youth, Pallid has taken that knowledge into the studio and fused it with his love for house music. From his humble studio, Pallid has skillfully churned out rhythmic Deep House to Progressive and Tribal House pieces laced with a musical and melodic twist.
Elusive and reserved, Pallid is one individual who willingly shies away from the attention of the press and media. Preferring to work in solitude, he lets his productions do the talking. It wasn’t until 4 months ago that his unofficial remix sampling the vocals of John Creamer and Stephane K’s “I Wish You Were Here” ended up with UDG:M by accident. This unofficial remix Pallid did has earned positive feedback from the likes of Randall Jones, Andy Jarrod, Jim Masters, all stating that it is a quality deep house track with a progressive twist. His other singles “Dark Drums”, “Sharma's Prayer” and “Deep Monotony” have all raised brows and won raving reviews – both locally and internationally.
Pallid’s “Sharma's Prayer”, currently doing its rounds on CDR Promo has been given two thumbs up by South American Maestro DJ/ Producer Marcelo Castelli, an endorsement few Asian Producers have been able to achieve. 3 Beat Recordings, Andy Jarrod also highlighted in an interview that Pallid will be the next up and rising Producer Asia one should watch for.
