VALANDI PANGEA (Dj/Producer/Remixer/A&R)

Chrissovalandis Martinidis a.k.a Valandi Pangea was born in Thessaloniki (the second largest city of Greece) on 17 November 1983. From the age of two he lived with his family in Paris where they ran a small business. At the age of nine they moved to Aachen (Germany), where he became interested in music. At age 15, Valandi started getting into trance, hardcore gabber and techno. At around that time he realized he wanted more than just listen to music and started experimenting and playing firstly CDs and later moving onto vinyl. At 18 Valandi played his residency at the Liquid club in his home town Aachen. During his time at Liquid he built up a following and soon promoters started showing an interest. He was soon moving around the local scene and making a name for himself. The highpoint of this period was playing a large venue party with DJ Taucher (scuba records). Dj Taucher was impressed with Valandi and introduced him to and invited him to join the Adult music community.

From that point on Valandi hasnt looked back, playing large venues all around Germany, Holland and Greece. Within a year ahead succeeded in gaining respect around the club scene as a star on the rise. Valandi Pangea now lives in Greece where he cooperates with Andi Vasilos in producing music and they both became A&R of Monad Music Recordings. He is also working as a producer on 88,8 Music Radio (www.radio888.gr) in Serres. His recordings Andi Vasilos & Valandi Pangeas productions, are getting heavy support from the likes of Dj Randall Jones (Bedrock-Renaissance) John Sinclair (Ministry of Sound) John 00 Fleming (Joof records) Jondi & Spesh (Loog Records), Kosmas Epsilon (Audio Therapy / Silver planet), Dj Taucher (Scuba Records / Adult Music) and more.
