PSR005 : Snake Sedrick - Fields
A1: Original Mix A2: Vocapella B: Blue Haze Vocal MixRelease Date: 3rd October 2005 The 5th release by Pure Substance Records is by Snake Sedrick with a smooth remix by Michael Burns under Blue Haze name. Snake is Zoltan Hedrick from Adand, Hungary who has releases under Screen Records, Inversus Limited Records, and a track called 'Pleasure' which appears on Moshic's Dj Mag mix a while back ago, which was Snake's first official release. And it has continued to grow with upcoming releases under Hunya Munya Records and SOG Records. We now present Hungary: Snake Sedrick. A1 - Original Mix A technological whisper of a dust wind blow kicking smoothly, while the deep cuts with a flick of darkness give a more agressive dimension. As it moves on, the instruments give place to tight tribal percussions, which welcome the magic atmosphere that follows, ready to take you far away; whispers like the sea. With a thrush circling sample, the kick starts leading to deeper progressive rhythms. The track rhythm is a unique travelling sense of ambience, like a well edited Asian music theme on excellent built-up "deep progressive-tribal mayhem". A style that could be only expressed by passing through Snake Sedrick's own hands. B1 - Blue Haze Vocal Mix Already licensed to Hernan Cattaneo Renaissance Master Series 2 and DJ 19 Additive Asia Gate 2 Mix Cd, this remix is a sweet one from PSR which should see firm support from a wide range of Djs. Using a special kind of melancholic, "filled of metallic blue" shining vocal, it moves like the original mix with a thickest power of treble and drums. It is more intelligent and as it gets over the first minutes, it presents the secret side of melodic strings, keys and samples. With changes in the end, exposes the unique musical alter ego which it keeps inside; that's exactly what makes this vocal mix so special. *Blue Haze Vocal Mix is featured at Hernan Cattaneo's Renaissance Masters Series Volume 2. *Blue Haze Vocal Mix is featured at DJ19's mixed CD: Addictive Asia Gate 2. *Original Mix is featured at Andrew K's mixed CD: Junk Science. Dj support from : Hernan Cattaneo, DJ 19, Damian DP, Noel Sanger, Kosmas Epsilon, Ryan Papa, Dj Josi K, Mark Oliver, D:Fuse, Matt Kling, Thee-O, Sean Carnahan, Deko-Ze, Jevne Miller, Deepsky, Cary Chang, Villo, Chloe Harris, J-Punch (Hook the Captain), Boris MD (Departure), Robert Oleysyck, Tigerhook Corp and more. I like both mixes, nice production all around and dig the smooth vocals on the Blue Haze mix. Groovy summertime stuff, will be playing for sure! - Mike Hiratzka These are nice tracks... I will play them out... - Randall Jones The Blue Haze remix is outstanding - great vocals and vibe! Really uplifting. Blue Haze Mix: 9/10 Original: 7/10 - Chris Salt I included the original mix in my "Junk Science" compilation cd, yet I would choose the remix to drop in a clubnight. Top stuff from mick burns once again! - Andrew K I really like the original mix of the track, is deep and smooth, perfect for the hours i wanna listen to proper stuff and not just headbanging bollockss, though the remix is not my taste, but that's no prob! - Kosmas Epsilon Both mix' s sound great man! Loving the original but I'll be playing them both. Thanks for hooking me up ;) - Greg Benz I liked the original mix best, nice and deep track perfect for the warm up or even a closing set, however you prefer. Although both mixes were full of emotion, i much preferred the original because it was deeper and a bit darker for my taste. All the best for another fine release! - Nelson 'Afroboogie' Awesome - Blue Haze strikes again - supporting !! - Chris Sterio Both mixes are great, the original is the one for my warmups at the clubs...and blue haze for my radio show...good release on pure substance. - Tom Sawyer Great release, big room hypnotic moments. Blue Haze remix is really great, big support from me. - Dominic Plaza I like both tracks, but If I have to choose, I'll choose the Blue Haze Mix. The programming and the vocals are great. Effective drum base that complements the real environment. The perfect foundation to built up a great set around it. I'm sure that this track will kick some minds on the dancefloor. Congratulations. - Julian Poker Awesome package!!! Original is spot on, really tight drums and nice groove. Blue Haze does his usual rolling Vocoded vocal which works really well!!! Pick for me is the Blue Haze mix but both mixes could easliy fit in the same set....I will be charting this for sure....Top Quality!! - Ollie Sterio My favorite mmmm... no doubts Blue Haze mix!! This guy rock, Excellent work. I've told. I'll support this for long time. - Menca Congrats about it! Both cuts are great, i prefer Mic's remix... he did a great work again. The original is so sweet and deep...also loving it. Will play both cuts the coming months and will chart this release at #3 in our June 2005 Top10. Overall rate: 8.5/10 - Clubbervision Fields (Blue Haze Mix): This track picks up nicely and has solid groove straight out of the gates. The vocal is nice as well as patterns. I like the groove, texture, and color of this track and must say that it is the favorite of the mixes. Good work Blue Haze. ;-) - Chad Cisneros Blue haze mix is the one for me! - Moussa Clarke (aka Moose) Just wanted to say that both mixes of Snake Sedrick - Fields are PERFECT! - Jefferson Tyler
